meet new people and be better for not only myself, but for the people i'm surrounded by. i want to be happier and not let my fatigue keep me down. streaming was fun while it lasted, but i have to explore new horizons in order to grow. i want to do things that i haven't been able to do before 4/5

further more, my breakup has set me back as well and i want to focus on my own mental health rather than focusing on streaming. this will be my only statement regarding said breakup.

to be transparent with everyone without giving too much away, i have realized the vtubing community within itself (at least for my case) has been mentally damaging and has set back my mental health by quite a bit. i will proceed to get therapy whenever i move in and get things settled. 2/3

after some thought and recent events, i will no longer be a vtuber. this account will be an archive of my art and posts. the only account i'll be active on will be @dreamercidal.bsky.social since it's my personal/art account. that account will now remain as my main account until further notice 1/3

What's going on? ICE is currently in Los Angeles, a Sanctuary City, conducting large-scale immigration sweeps, targeting workplaces and restaurants. The California National Guard and Marines have been mobilized to the city, and tear gas and rubber bullets have been used against protestors. Ice is expected to be in the city for at least 30 days. What is the ACLU? The American Civil Liberties Union fights to defend people’s rights and against government abuse. ACLU supports many causes including immigration rights, trans rights, and reproductive freedom. It uses its funds for education, litigation, and lobbying.

What is VTvsICE? VTvsICE is a group of VTubers fundraising for ACLU in the wake of the raids in LA. We are organized by WrongTypeofHero, featuring a variety of VTubers, PNGTubers, artists, etc. who will all be streaming for the event. The event will last from JULY 16 to AUGUST 1. How can I help? If you can’t donate (which is totally OK!), just watching the streams or spreading the word will help a lot! You can also get involved directly— go to protests or support protestors, share information, call your Representatives, and utilize ACLU’s resources. Maybe you can pass out water at protests, make art or graphics to help educate people and raise awareness, or just talk to your friends about it!
