It's completely outrageous to even charge this amount as well. It's so predatory. I rely on my car for medical appointments, too, and the police won't even let me dispute what happened. I have no idea what to do..

Need legal advice. Police seized my car over a 'street violation' for street repair & there was no sign where my car was parked. They want $600 & my cars registration to be up to date now to release it bc they have a "deal w/ the police" How's this even legal? I need my car for medical appointments

On top of that my phone is going to get shut off & I can't even afford food or my medication. I have like 4 doctor appointments I need to set up & can't even do that atp. Feel like I'm drowning. Idk what to do
