So, we have a combo toaster oven/toaster/air fryer, and, uh...if you don't turn it to "air fry" and leave it on "toast," then turning the timer on for air frying does nothing...

These "Final Notice" spam/phishing emails (I dunno what exactly, I never open them) really just keep coming, don't they?

It'd be nice if they really were final.

If media is really affecting me, I might tear up a little, so "To Your Eternity" getting me to shed actual tears and have to blow my nose is a resounding endorsement for how emotionally affecting that show is.

Glad I watched it, though spending my entire Saturday doing so was maybe a bit much. >_>

For 75% of the year, I often write the month as 0X, so when we get to this last 25% where I use 1X instead, I find myself feeling really thrown off.

The thing I want most in my life that I'm missing right now is hanging out with friends.

Our version of partying was going to Denny's after Friday Night Magic, then hanging out at the Tournament Organizer's apartment playing Rock Band or something (I just hung out).

Yeah!

I miss Pokémon Club.

I miss being able to walk into the cafeteria and find a random game of Magic: The Gathering. Because that's where we gathering'd. :D

And I also miss friends being nearby.

I miss us having time to just hang out.

This includes sales on Guild Wars 1, including its additional things like extra storage panes for the bank and additional character slots!

I love GW1, and now is an excellent time to check it out. :D

Night time makes me anxious, which I suspect may be why I tend to wake up at night, even if I've been sleepy all day. 🤔

Sometimes mediocre hits the spot.

I remember, back in the day, going to a Chinese restaurant in a local food court that had mediocre food, but it was the exact right kind. I quite enjoyed it.

There's plenty of things that are that way, you know?

Weird mood is weird.

Mostly I feel completely uninterested in things. I think it mostly stems from being tired, because I stayed up way too late last night reading. Though, being frustrated with Silksong is, unfortunately, contributing.

#Gaming Hot Take: Any bossfight that you expect the average* player to take more than 2-3 attempts to beat should have no runback. It's simply wasting their time and is thus unacceptable, imo.

*: Average is important here! As a dev, you are likely significantly above average!

My LGS often limits purchases per customer for stuff that's super popular, like one pack per costumer per day, that kind of thing. Stuff can still sell out super fast, but it hopefully helps more kids to be able to get at least one pack...

Honestly, tech companies need to stop being able to use the "the user has to opt out of it, and they didn't, so it's OK!" excuse.
