I've made some of these sheep wall hangings before, but this one has a twist - literally! I've made the sheep with curly Wensleydale locks. Herdwick, Hebridean, and Scottish blackface sheep all hanging from a sheep rib I found in Renfrewshire.

I've named her Marmoti (moti is Urdu for fatty!)

This took me so long to make because it made me so emotional. Moroccan uromastyx lizard tail skin. I painted the background many of the colours you can find on uros, in prime paint that dries like scales!

Completely missed out Sheena Easton, Sharlene Spiteri, Ted and Hugh McKenna, Brian McFie, and The Delgados. There were only 3 women featured in the whole thing. Very odd. Still, it was worth a visit, cool to see Sushil's dad's Spanish guitar that Sushil turned into a bass!

Took one of ma wee @bmxbanditsduglas.bsky.social haggises to see the Everyhing Flows exhibition at Summerlee Museum. Great collection of artefacts, loved seeing aw the zines and stuff, but the presentation was really poor, loads of mistakes, and incoherent sentences. Some weird omissions too.

Been busy making lots of Scottish Pop Haggises... specifically the indie pop icons. Wonder what that could be for? 🤔

Three needle felted haggises dressed as the band Bis. The one on the left is John Disco with brown hair, sideburns, a pink shirt, and a dark green guitar. The one in the middle is Manda Rin with a pink and black dress, brown hair with bleach blonde streaks, white hair clips, and pinkish red lipstick. The one on the right is Sci Fi Steven with a pink shirt, brown hair, and reddish-brown and white guitar.

For context, I make needle felted haggises dressed as Scottish musicians with wee instruments.
