completely amazed at how good that first episode of psg2 was. Like even if the rest is complete ass, that felt like such a fun sendoff/extended final episode.

It feels like people are wayyy more accepting of this in a boomer shooter or an fps like doom then in a action game for some reason.

As a relative newbie i really like that it tells what possible hands you have. The safe tile indicator is also cool but maybe too much of a crutch.

theres probably going to be a bunch of new gundam projects announced this year, several of them UC alone. And throughout the show the number one thing people talked about was literally all the cool callbacks and references

I think its trying to be about moving on and actually trying new things but god it just does not feel like it with how it ends and just the state of gundam as a franchise. like dawg-

But this is delivered through a show with constant fan service and callbacks with our main characters just being thin avatars expressing this exact type of behavior. Which would be fine, if they just didn't so little else going on. I guess that can be argued as intentional?...

so I think my initial read on gquux was correct on what they were trying do but its like...alright? Yeah people latch onto formative pieces of art they love to the point where they can't move on and just create endless spinoffs or fanfiction BUT
