Coming land strikes may be against specific people, and just in Venezuela, Trump says. "It's land strikes on horrible people that are bringing in drugs and killing our people...So it doesn't necessarily have to be in Venezuela--it's people that are bringing in drugs to our country, are targets."

This is so bonkers and lawless that newspapers are struggling to find a headline that fits. “Trump announces pardon…” “Trump asserts he has pardoned…” “Trump symbolically pardons…” Which is kind of a running theme, as Trump routinely announces he’s doing things he has no power to do.
