I think it would have been a much tighter race. The Democratic Party is incapable of properly representing the people it’s supposed to represent, and is quite frankly an abject failure. This is going to be a scary four years. Hug your loved ones tight. Remember, community is everything. 5/6

in the same way Kamala’s campaign did, it’s clear that Biden’s continuation of milquetoast establishment dem centrist bullshit laid the groundwork for Kamala’s loss. Kamala is far from innocent in this as well, as instead of actually trying to court progressives and get every voter from 2020– 3/6
wish to win an election again, the shifting of the Overton window right is not the answer. Biden in 2020 won for frankly, two reasons: one, he wasn’t Donald Trump, and two, he “promised” (lied) that he would push for many popular progressive policies. While he did attempt to court Independents 2/6 🧵
Dems losing this election is entirely the fault of the party establishment and its refusal to even truly attempt to pass progressive policy. The constant attempts to court republicans and centrist/independent types has only served to alienate the progressive wing of the party, And if dems ever 1/6 🧵
