Is the hood soft goods or just really nice sculpted texture?

Void rivals 27 with Pythona on the cover. She’s a pretty young woman with yellow snake-like eyes and is mostly bald except for a long ponytail. Her skin is slightly purple and she has markings around her eyes that make an almost Zartan-like domino mask.

I don’t usually buy variant covers, but I felt compelled to pick this Pythona cover from Void Rivals 27. The artist is Ben Oliver.

TCs Rockets has a good amount of vintage stuff. I’m not in the market, so I’m not sure what their pricing is like.

I just remember when I was active on the Fwoosh custom board, every few months someone would start a thread asking for companies to do blank bodies, so I did feel compelled to grab some.

Blank super-heroic action figure base bodies for customs by Boss Fight Studios. The male is lunging forward to punch and the female is standing in the background.

I didn’t have a custom in mind, but I picked up a couple of these 6 inch Boss Fight blank bodies just to check them out. They are solid, poseable figures. I think the woman has a lot of the same parts as their Red Sonja, but I haven’t made specific comparisons, so I might be wrong.

That’s a great little diorama for them. Very cool.

Is it just me, or is Storm really churning these Arena figures out at a quicker pace than their usual?

GI Joe Cesspool action figure carded. He’s an older white guy with a receding hairline of white hair and a huge facial scar. His outfit is a a teal green jumpsuit with purple details and gold shoulder pads.

Cesspool is one of those late in the line Cobras I’m really looking forward to seeing in Classified.

I’m getting real eco-warriors vibes from the color scheme. I’m digging it.

The toy department guy didn’t want to open the box for me for some reason. I thought that was weird, but I could imagine dealing with collectors all the time could be frustrating, so I opened it myself and grabbed a couple. This was San Diego, CA and the box has the code name BB RUDY DLX.

I totally missed that these went up for order.

Brad Turner and Condor from M.A.S.K. action figures from The Loyal Subjects. The Condor is a neon green motorcycle firing lasers. Brad Turner is a guy in a bright yellow jumpsuit and mask that has purple highlights.

One thing I will say is that I’m seeing a disturbing lack of Brad Turner in that issue one cover material that I hope gets rectified pretty quickly.

The small M.A.S.K. segments in the Energon Universe have been really cool, so I have high hopes. I recently did a rewatch of the cartoon and read the old comics and Skybound does not have a high bar to clear to make this comic the best M.A.S.K. media ever. www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/r...

Hammond Collection Dryosaurus action figure. It’s a mostly green biped with a long tail and short arms. Kind of a raptor with a more parrot like face. He’s turned to the side as has got a wide yellow eye and wide open mouth so he looks really surprised.

The HC Dryosaurus action figure is nice. I’m not sure how I feel about the opening mouth function being a swappable part rather than a hinge. I think the open mouth does look more natural than a hinge, but then there’s that line. I do like that you can kind of pry the closed mouth open slightly.

I saw Microtron reaction+ for a good price and I I’ve been reading the Micronaut comic lately, so I picked him up. It’s funny because I’ve wanted six inch scale Micronauts for a while but have kind of given up on it ever happening, but this guy actually scales well with six inch figures.

I found the end cap with the latest GI Joe wave at my local Walmart. Nice thing was I could grab a couple figures I still needed and they were asking the old price of $25. It’s interesting to me the character art they chose to put on the end cap container thing. Not exactly icons of the brand.

I think it is up at other places, it’s not exclusive to Pulse.

I’m a little surprised to see the Royal Guard sold out on Pulse. I was hoping maybe they would hit clearance eventually.

Maybe I got him direct from 4H, I can’t remember now.

Father Christmas action figure sports a large hooked staff with lantern and a soft goods fur lined coat.

I initially skipped this 4H Figura Obscura Father Christmas because I’m more of a coke commercial Santa guy, but BBTS had this rerelease in stock and it’s the only Figura Obscura I didn’t have, so I grabbed him last month. Glad I did, the soft goods are insanely nice.

The like is for the 3D printer, not medical bills. Medical bills suck. 3D printing seems like fun. Complicated, but fun.

GI Joe classified hit & run duffle bag. Right now I’ve got the grappling hook rope jammed into the opening hinge of the pack.

Since the rope doesn’t thread through the duffel, I was thinking of drilling a small hole in the top of it, threading the rope through the hole, and tying the other end to the handle piece that I’m not sure what to do with. Right now I just jam the rope into the opening hinge on the duffle. 🤷

I was expecting the Muppets to be great based on the Sesame Street stuff, but Duck Tales was a real pleasant surprise out of left field. All the new 2012 Turtle stuff is looking killer too. The alternate faces and accessories on the K-Pop figures look really slick too.

Deep Six replaces the pressure seals on his diving suit while Barbecue (hopefully) catches some dinner
