With a name fit for the Pirates, Jeff Parrett’s career took flight in MON. Without a single start, he finished enough games to earn 12 wins in 1988. Then Parrett mimicked those stats with PHI in 1989. His ERA was under 3.00 for both seasons.

It's about maps, baseball, and writing.

I made a map of their birthplaces. They're mostly from the East Coast of the US! The only two from Europe were both born in Germany, which probably says more about their teammates who nicknamed them.

There are 23 former baseball players named "Dutch." And none of them are Dutch by birth. 😆

Also helpful to question whether "perfect" is actually so. Often I find this to mean, "what I personally would do in an ideal world where there are no time/money/focus trade-offs."
