18.11.2025 12:06 โ ๐ 253 ๐ 94 ๐ฌ 16 ๐ 16A black-and-white historical photograph showing severe destruction from the 1929 Grand Banks tsunami in Newfoundland. Several wooden houses have been ripped from their foundations and floated inland, now sitting tilted and half-collapsed in a snowy, ice-covered landscape. Some houses are broken apart, with walls and roofs caved in. Debris including barrels and a small boat lie scattered across the frozen ground and shallow floodwater. In the background, a snowy hillside rises with a few remaining intact houses near the top, under a cloudy sky. The scene is bleak and chaotic, capturing the aftermath of a powerful natural disaster in winter.
On Nov. 18, 1929, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the south coast of Newfoundland.
It produced an eight-metre high tsunami that swept into the coast of the island.
It killed nearly 30 people.
This is the story of the Grand Banks Earthquake.

I was thinking more like Narnia or other fantasy type settings. You go through the wardrobe and end up at the lamp post, but you don't get to go back from the lamp post to the wardrobe unless Aslan intervenes. It's a one way ticket to fairyland.
