Have you tried turning on/off the “calibration” option in VRCFT? It can change how visemes look/move a fair deal on some setups.

D4rk’s optimizer is probably the best free non destructive optimizer out there. Doesn’t do everything but it does quite a lot of important optimizations out of the way. Mats & meshes are why I use it. Consult the instructions or HMU on discord if you ever need help with getting it working.

I once bought some booth shoes (they didn’t state the perf details) and I was appalled to find out they were 58k polys. Entire rest of my avatar was worth like 55k. Decimated them down to 8.5k while still looking awesome. Wish they could do better to optimize their stuff, great shoes otherwise.
