"Canada L I V E S because of the United States." My first thought after hearing this was, didn't we burn the White House down once? I'd call that living the L I F E .
Carney's words at Davos, "...because if we're not at the table, we're on the menu." I'm feeling kinda peckish. Maybe Turkey, Texas is a good place to gobble up to start.
Canada's most ordered foods. Basically, fat on top of fat on top of fat. Because of the cold climate, right?

I find it ironic that Kirk was immediately followed by Dryden 2/2
Rachael Thomas (CPC): freedom of speech is the cornerstone of a free society. Charlie Kirk was an outspoken advocate for faith, family and freedom.
Hon. Mona Fortier (Lib.): Ken Dryden passing is a profound loss for Canada. I...witnessed first-hand his thoughtfulness, intellect and dedication. 1/2

but I am having an excellent computer karma day: the virtual phone's ringing again; Excel doesn't auto-wrap anymore when cutting and pasting. Dare I hope the printer is accessible again? Eeeeee!

So...104% tariff on Chinese imports. Is that why they're seizing the phones at the border - there's going to be a massive shortage of regularly priced phones so border guards are stocking-piling for side sales.
Did he say Thank You
No tax to pay on capital gains means, also, no tax to recover on capital losses or apply as tax reduction on future capital gains. Sounds like lose-lose scenario to me. Better to keep the capital gains tax rate exactly where it is.
So, since there are no capital gains and only capital losses, does this mean there's no tax recovery? Am I understanding this correctly?

Maybe we're supposed to add up all the tariffs within the EU...
Silly me. After decreeing the world-wide tarriffs, should've made that first Emperor of Earth.
The Art of the Deal. The end result is irrelevant. The goal: prolong the adrenalin rush by forcing individual countries to prostrate themselves at his feet begging for as long as possible. Dealing with the EU as a group shortens the rush. He craves them one-by-one.
