I did that a few days ago and I think I'm enjoying it more than during my first attempt on release.

Wasn’t that just because of the different amount of side stuff you were both doing? I played on Normal and had to redo a fight here and there, but I don’t think lowering it would make my playthrough much shorter - most of my play time was spent looking for hidden stuff and backtracking.

Finished #Khazan with the true ending and I really, really enjoyed it. Might be my favorite soulslike (non-From) game. Yes, some ideas are better executed in Nioh etc., but the general gamefeel was awesome. Also beating the last from of the last boss on my first try felt amazing.

Still the best Xenoblade game.

Definitely won't argue with your criticism, but I have to say that after playing it for a while something clicked and I started having a ton of fun. At this point I'm glad I stuck around with it, but it does feel like some potential has been wasted.

I'm sorry but there is no way in all of hell I can imagine to depict these charts in text. This one is a wiggly line showing various years in the book vs various chapters in the book. The 2nd image has a bunch of concentric boxes and games overlaid on that. It's an unreadable visual nightmare

I decided it would be fun to take my chart that shows Romance of the Three Kingdoms book pacing vs real-life years, and overlay on top of it what parts are covered by Dynasty Warriors games.

Devoured #EnderMagnolia over the weekend, great moody metroidvania. It does most things better than Ender Lilies, definitely feels less frustrating. They did over-correct a bit with Normal feeling a tad too easy, but you can fine tune the difficulty if you want. Took me 17h40min to do everything.

40 minutes into Elder Magnolia and I’m really digging it.

Ended up preordering the Digital Deluxe version of the new Dynasty Warriors game because of how cool the demo was.
