A coastal scene in Nova Scotia. You can see the green vegetation in the foreground, a stony beach, the water and some cliffs of a point into the distance.

We had a beautiful escape to the beach yesterday on the Fundy coast.

Not only were the temperatures cooler, but when we arrived at high tide it was like our own salt water wave pool!

Grateful there is now a 70% chance of rain on Thursday! (serious drought here)

A blue spotted bowl I made early on as a potter with peas and grapefruit cherry tomatoes.

We are currently in a drought which requires some deep watering of the garden. That gives me time to snack and the opportunity to harvest a snack for my love 💙

The bowl is a 'throwback' to the dawn of my pottery days.

We lost our beautiful lady this Spring and I think of her a lot. Each day I touch her urn and give it a little kiss.

I know we could give another rescue dog a good home but I think it's still too soon.
