Reflections on Solidarity: Power to the People — LopezWagnerStrategies “Immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers belong here.”

Protests have been an integral part of American discourse and a necessary instrument for change in our democracy. If ever there was a right time to protest against unlawful powers and reimagine a just society — it's now.

Immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers belong here.

A Love Letter to our National Marine Sanctuary System Staff | National Marine Sanctuary Foundation To those we’ve served alongside, followed and have met during our work, we are in solidarity with you and you have our enduring appreciation.

National marine sanctuaries protect some of America’s most spectacular places and provide unparalleled recreation opportunities. They are also under attack from the #Trump administration.

Join us as we fight to protect what we love.

Black and white image of Rep. Grijalva. Teal background. Bunches of yellow and orange flowers with green stems. Image reads: "No tribute would be sufficient or profound enough to accurately capture the love and legacy of Raul M. Grijalva. He was truly one of our nation's most humble leaders. His loss is immense. Rest in Power. 1948-2025.

Graphic reads in white letters: Black History is Our History as a Nation, American History. Smaller text reads: The leadership, contributions, culture, and movements led by Black activists and communities to heal and advance our society — despite systemic racism and discrimination — will not be erased. Background photo of exhibit with school chairs and signage reading press, education, displaying TVs with historic images at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.

Photo includes four people in a collaborative office space. One individual is holding LEGOs, while all four smile. Two people are standing (center) and two are sitting. An Audre Lourde quote is in the background, which reads, "Without community there is no liberation." A white bowl sits on the right, a yellow case is on the left.

Here's a moment of ✨️collaborative levity✨️ for our '25 memory books with Justice Outside colleagues and client partners. Last week, we had planning time to strategize for the year ahead. We're grateful to be in care + service alongside them. 💚🌿 #equitablecomms #outdooreducation #equitableaccess

Graphic with green plant leaf, yellow flower, and mountains in pink hues with López-Wagner Strategies, an equitable communications agency, logo reads:

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. used his voice and encouraged others to elevate theirs to speak out against injustices across his lifetime. One such environmental injustice led to the Memphis Sanitation Strike of 1968, a protest against environmental pollution and racial inequality. The strike mobilized Black communities nationally, also spotlighting the disproportionate pollution, health, and economic injustices they faced.

Today, and always, we remain committed to speaking out against racism and oppression and to continue forward living with hope.
