Road to Perdition just started on ITV. Top tier work from Thomas Newman whose score is incredible. Arguably Sam Mendes’s finest work too, with a look, tone and vibe that’s absolutely perfect. Such a great movie.

We all pay our way, we put our rubbish in the bins, we act in a non-disruptive way, and for what? For people to push past us and piggy back on our fares? For them to nick food we’re being ripped off for? For them to nick the bikes and phones we all pay daft amounts of money for? But yeh, minor 🙄

Whenever things like this, littering, anti-social behaviour, bike stealing and shoplifting are commonly regarded as minor, it means nothing will ever get done and it will only get worse. Getting a bit fed up of how law abiding people and their needs to simply live are being ignored.

Love the MI movies, and really think McQ took it up a couple of notches, but after Dead Reckoning Part 1 it was obvious they should’ve shifted gears again.

I said in the FYR End of Year Spesh that this was one of my most anticipated of year. Yes he’s made greatness before, but I genuinely think Lee is in his golden era. Stoked to see reviews like this.

A few acts really struggled in the final after a week of belting out their songs over and over again. France and Netherlands in particular were ace in the week. Seeing that boring Italy song do well was crazy. Still, such great fun. Basel a wonderful host. Completely fallen in love with Switzerland.

Truly bizarre public voting overshadowed what was a truly fantastic Eurovision. Have it for the semis but bin it for the final, it’s never not a complete farce. France, Malta and even the UK were completely screwed.
