Day 7 of 31 we opted for

[REC]4: Apocalypse

Yes, we went vastly out of order...but we've seen the other entries so much more and rarely watch this one...for good reason: not our favorite of the series.

That's the nature of horror films. Rarely does a series have a perfect run.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

Hadn't heard of it until just now! I'll have to look for more info. I've got questions and concerns!🤔

The first act was pretty epic! I always kinda wished we'd get a prequel to see more of the crew in action!

Honestly, you're not missing much. I very much disliked Conjuring 1-3. Annabelle didn't impress either. I can't imagine I'll watch even one more entry of any related property.

Truly, we agree. Sometimes a little space in between is a better pace to let a series breathe properly.

Agreed. I bet there will be more middle of the road and...probably a few that should be buried UNDER the road as well!😅

Day 4 of October's 31 days of mixed horror brings to our home screen:

The Toxic Avenger (2025)

Yeah, we're going straight-up goofball, silly, gross-out horror/comedy tonight!

Bring on the yucks😆 and the yucks🤮!

What's everyone else watching tonight?

Kinda thought it was a more comedy horror entry, moreso than even some of the previously silly entries. First and final vignettes i enjoyed most. Mixed bag in the middle.

Not a fan, eh?🤭 Can't blame ya. I'd love to see it skew "scary" again if they make another entry.

The villain had charisma for days!

Indeed. Plenty better, for certain, but sometimes it's fun to throw a lesser entry into the list. This one was a middle of the road, "just ok" entry.

Since it’s October 1st somewhere and the start of breast Cancer awareness month; I would like to post the cards my departed first wife Andrea Popkes(Parker) made a decade ago. Andrea suffered from metastatic breast cancer, that was in her spine, hip & fever, this is what is called #stage4
