My personal hot take is that Bluebooking sucks, and formatting citations should just be automated. The fact that the human review didn't catch the problem of hallucinating titles and authors seems like the much bigger problem.

The arrogance is what's so stunning. Who needs expertise?
My new health insurance policy just arrived in the mail.
Is the costume just... a childhood photo of @gshans.bsky.social ?

Totally the worst advice I could think of. My advice to kids, and really anyone, is find a thing you absolutely love to do. And then do it as much as possible. I am not an elite singer, but the time I've spent singing is the best of my life.

If I was good at memes I'd make one of Gandalf saying "You shall not pass" with your face on it
Josh was excellent, and Annaleigh Ashford was an unhinged revelation! A fabulous revival of one of the best musicals!!
This might be flying under the radar (so please RT!), but the US Copyright Office is soliciting comments for its decisions on training ML/NLP/AI systems on copyrighted material (even *non*-generative AI). They need to hear from researchers, so please comment! Deadline Oct 30. www.copyright.gov/ai/
Any and all continuations and adaptations of Locked Tomb should be injected π straight into my veins thankssssss
I just took a benadryl because my eyes hurt. It helped a little
