I threw my hat into the ring for fictional G&D locomotives.
This is #51, a "heavy" Pacific built by Baldwin in 1927 for heavy passenger trains over the Great Divide. Being based in the mountains, the 51 necessitated the need of a smoke duct found on SP locomotives that ran over Donner Pass.

ALCO builder's photo of a Union Pacific FEF-3 "Four Eight Four" with a centipede tender.
Color photo from the 1950's of an SP Mt-4 in its last couple of years of service.
I don't have the time to kitbash this idea, but something tells me a UP FEF would look pretty spectacular with a full skyline casing, as seen in the right image of an SP Mt-4.
