ICE is terrorizing and gassing anti-ICE protestors in Burlington, Vermont. They likely expected a smaller city like Burlington to not put up a fight. But one thing these fascists don't understand is that is not how this works.
It's beyond offensive.
An arm of the federal government - ICE - created fear in our communities. As a state government, we should step up to help in ways that we can. The MNLeg cannot stop ICE, but we can and should pass increased rental assistance to help people stay in their homes.
