I've never actually been to Hanlan's Point on the Toronto Islands. I really should visit it once. I highly doubt there is a hot dog vendor (especially right on the beach), but this was a case of me drawing the characters before choosing the setting.

Apparently the canonical Japanese Godzilla is a dinosaur from the Jurassic/Cretaceous period that survived to the present. I grew up with the 1998 Hollywood Godzilla and thought he was an iguana too. Also, kinda spoiler: The fence was very ineffective.

I did not know that was a thing. Noted! :-)

I usually only draw gay boys, but I finally got around to watching the original 1954 Godzilla and it was awesome.
