I believe in Democracy.

Unfortunately we will know who America wants to be in 2028. I believe in our Democracy and I hope people will wake up, but if Americans vote for a Trump successor then we have to deal with the fact our country is changing.

I don’t think Trump expects their support this time which is why his administration is doing everything it can to intimidate them before the next elections.

We have to change the system without violence. Otherwise we become the people that we disagree with.

I will look it up today after work. Like many Americans, I’ve leaned more about our government and our Constitution since Trump took office than I ever did in school.

But the other side is amassing enough of an ICE army to monitor (intimidate) voting locations as well.

The Insurrection Act would allow Trump to send troops anywhere he wants which is why ICE is so prevalent and large. It is basically his own private army. And I don’t believe we are able to hold an election if he engages it.

The idea with getting rid of people in the military and putting money into ICE is to create a loyalist army to enforce whatever his administration decides over the next elections.

The idea behind sending ICE into Blue led states is to create a sense of unrest so Trump can declare an insurrection which would allow the GOP to skip the midterms and possibly the next presidential election.

Because the Trump administration wants to convince everyone that if the 2020 election was stolen, he can try and take away each state right to govern their own elections. That way his people can run everything.

The bad part is that the MAGA base will still claim he doesn’t take a paycheck as president and he deserves $10 billion. And the GOP will go along if it looks like it will get them votes.

Is Maduro (and Gabbard) part of a larger scheme to coerce him into saying the 2020 election was stolen due to foreign interference?

The Biden administration had people looking into Epstein’s finances but I’m sure that’s been buried. As they in crime shows - FOLLOW THE $$$.

It could give DHS an opportunity to do a reset using Noem, but couldn’t Trump just ignore the process altogether? They’ve broken the law with the Epstein files release, is there any recourse if he chooses to ignore a Noem impeachment?

This administration really only answers to itself. Noem has become the scapegoat but even if she’s reassigned, it won’t change ICE policy. I suppose it’s a first step but it seems this is mostly performative.

What can citizens of Merrimack county do? I don’t want to see my town overrun with ICE agents along with the controversy and disruption it would cause.

If she is impeached, why should we expect the Trump administration to follow through on a trial? And if she is removed from office, what would stop them from replacing her with someone just the same?
