I am gonna lose it if Byleth is actually in this game. I don’t think it’s likely and it would be kind of fan servicey but just knowing it’s set in Fódlan has me thinking of all the references they’ll include and the timeline discourse it could cause
I always assumed Byleth is immortal in the fe3h routes where she stays merged with Sothis (so, all of them minus Crimson Flower). so if Byleth isn’t still around in Fortune’s Weave, could that make CF canon? and if they ARE still around, could that confirm other routes?
so Fortune’s Weave is set in Fódlan after fe3h (based on Sothis’ comments/age) but how long… could be many generations so fe3h’s events are long forgotten, which would let them avoid naming a canon fe3h route. or there’s timey wimey nonsense and somehow all the routes are canon?
