Wednesday, another day @jaxkonferenz.bsky.social, kicking off with @tastapod.com trying to convince us to build the "Best Simple System for Now".
Q: "Can you pass the salt?"
A: "I'm developing a system... that'll save you time in the long run"
"This time it's different" ๐ ๐

Welcome to W-JAX!
Rod Johnson kicking off with his keynote about AI-agents and the future of Java.
And how right now most Gen-AI are failing spectacularly. We need more than "This time it's different".
Let's start with attacking non-determinism. And see how Embabel can help us ๐

Today was already the first day of the W-JAX conference in Munich. Canโt wait to meet up with other conference speakers @jaxkonferenz.bsky.social
Apparently there are some last minute tickets available; do check them out at jax.de/munich/ or follow us online at entwickler.de.

Today is election day in The Netherlands. Whenever you have the chance, I urge you to vote, just like I did today!
Vote for the future of our planet, vote liberal, vote against climate change, against hate and, especially, vote against the toxic lies that are killing humanity.
๐ค ๐ฅฐ ๐
The end, no more upcoming talks.
Thank you @devoxx.com and the entire team.
See you next year ๐๐
Thank you @lizeraes.bsky.social for your very entertaining final presentation @devoxx.com. The demo gods may not always be with us, but your talk was very helpful and instructive nonetheless.๐ช๐

The last session @devoxx.com 2025!
Watching @lizeraes.bsky.social starting off telling us how users typing "yes please" in a simple RAG web based search within chat bots can lead to "unexpected" content in your application logs.๐จ๐คฎ

Another day @devoxx.com, another session about agentic systems, this time by the langchain4j heroes @kevindubois.com and Mario Fusco.

Pondering this morning's โ session by @nipafx.dev
The AOT caching feature, and specifically loading aot files, somehow feels like a hacker's paradise in the making. It reminds me of all the deserialization issues we had way back when. Or am I too sceptical?
