This is one of the absolute strengths World of Warcraft holds over FFXIV. Despite recent grips, the Transmog system is objectively better than the Glamour system, and FFXIV should just straight up steal it.

Do away with the Glamour Dresser and make it so that every single item goes in the Armoire. No more picking and choosing what goes in there. If you collect it and register it, you have it for life.

Cataclysm was so bloated with pop culture references it feels borderline unplayable nowadays. Even playing as a kid, I remember just being fucking exhausted by the time I hit Twilight Highlands and the final quest was another hamfisted reference, I just wanted it to take one thing seriously.

I don’t even know if it needs that, Smash Ultimate looks and runs fine as is.

This is gonna sound pretentious as hell, but Wicked demands a level of nuance that many viewers fail to approach it with, and the complexity of basically everyone involved and the new context of a familiar story is going to be vastly oversimplified by people unwilling to engage on a deeper level.

That’s what I’m hearing and seeing. The last few Kirby games have been stupendous too, and Kid Icarus Uprising was great.

I love Smash Bros, but I think we’d be seeing far more IPs thrive under him if he wasn’t constantly gummed up in making another one.

I am okay with never getting another Super Smash Bros. again if it means Masahiro Sakurai is free to make whatever the hell else he wants.

Oh hey. Good on them, but I’d like to see them eventually learn how to not rely on overwhelming player backlash for things I know they know better on.
