I actually do trust and believe your motives. I do also think you’ll have a PR/perception obstacle to get over, but you may have a strategy for that. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating, of course.

The incentive and permission this creates for a deepfake of say, Nick Offerman in a MAGA hat, or ANY OF YOU in a pro-nazi t-shirt, is so clear and obvious it hurts my head.
I get that the message is righteous, and Kanye can suck eggs; but the “I don’t care that it’s fake” response (from actors, of all people) tells me a lot about where we’re headed, and it ain’t good.
I can’t believe we had a whole strike against unauthorized AI-generated uses of our likeness and yet all these #actors are out here sharing that deepfake video.
Y'all. AI deepfakes made without consent are bad, even when they're conveying an entirely righteous message.
