No matter what your opinions are about adult content, it should still be setting off alarms that companies are outright banning it. It's an outright lie that they're doing it "for the kids." It's for control and silence, simple as that.

I have friends that make adult content. They're not out to "corrupt the youth" or whatever lame excuse the companies are trying to push. They're some of the most chill people I know. In fact, they're the ones that take extra measures to make sure kids don't see their more spicy stuff.
