New Microsoft 365 Roadmap UI and API

The Microsoft 365 roadmap is one of the ways you can keep up with what is coming down the pipe on Microsoft 365.

There is also a new API (how we and others pull information and track changes). You can also get an RSS feed and Export it to CSV.

Changes in the way the From field is presented Teams voicemails.

"Unverified" and "External" tags will always be added to the From field of voicemail messages in Outlook emails.

No admin action, but you might want to inform your end user support team

All Microsoft Teams Android devices will have required updates for "session flows" in February.

Starting June 2025, Teams Android devices with firmware older than five months will no longer work.

Add Copilot agents or bots to Teams Group Chats, coming February 2025.

"Add agents or bots", opens a contextual view of agents that users can add to the group chat.

This change will be on by default. You can turn it off, but only by disabling Copilot for users.

Microsoft Teams Voice-enabled channels will retire in June 2025

Microsoft recommends moving to the Queues app with more advanced features. This requires a Teams Premium and Teams Phone license for relevant users. (Voice-enabled channels were in Teams core).
