Man taking a drag on a cancer stick.
Nigel Farage has visited the USA 8 times since becoming an MP in July 2024.
He's visited his #Clacton constituency just 10 times in the same period.

Apparently heโs given ยฃ1K to the rowersโ charity but as someone in another thread suggested, heโll probably write that donation off against tax ๐

07.08.2025 21:03 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0No. Donโt tell me to move on from the biggest self-inflicted disaster this country has ever seen. You lot never moved on from the UK joining in the first place, so suck it up. Weโre not going away and weโre not shutting up and accepting the damage Brexit has done and continues to do.
06.08.2025 11:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Heard this being discussed on The Rest is Politics. Campbell and Stewart bang on the money when they said thereโs a disconnect between how Downing St and its advisers think things are going and what the population thinks. Farage exploits this disconnect to his advantage.

In a way itโs good that the RNLI donโt receive funding from the government as that way, theyโre not susceptible to political pressure. Iโm just glad that there are good people in this country who are willing and able to fund them instead.

But, like the conman Trump, some people think he's the answer to our problems.
He's actually the corrupt, racist, cancerous problem that began to eat away at our lives with #Brexit to help the rich avoid taxes.

In most normal places, just being 'besties' with the World's most high-profile paedophile and sex trafficking monster, would prevent you from Running the entire Country.
In the USA, they vote for you to do it twice.
Wonder if itโs the handiwork of Led by Donkeys? Looks like the kind of sterling work theyโd get up to.

Watching an item on #BBCBreakfast about the lack of take- up for electric cars, and how the govt think that whatโs needed is more signs pointing to recharging infrastructure. For the majority of people, the blocker is cost. Yet another sign that the govt is divorced from reality.

Well done to the broadcasters who have spent so long doing the PR for the far right in this country - I hope you wonโt pretend it was nothing to do with your valiant efforts if we get a far right government- it is important that your contribution is remembered
