Quote from participant: So it's taken me a few days to compile my thoughts from the #KnowledgeTranslation Canada Summer Institue at the downtown SFU campus in Vancouver last week.
I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to attend and further my passion for #ImplementationScience and understanding of the #LearningHealthSystems through learning from the faculty and fellow attendees at the Summer Institute.
I'm very appreciative for the opportunity to attend, with thanks to my MSc supervisor Dr Khara Sauro and her Knowledge to Implementation Lab, and for all at #KTSI for selecting me to attend.
This event marked the first time during my MSc program where I got to present my research focused on improving hospital patient flow through a 30 second talk and a poster presentation, and while it was nerve-wracking the experience was invaluable.
It's a sign of an amazing event when it ends and you don't want to leave the room, because leaving the room means it's over. Being surrounded by likeminded folks advancing healthcare improvements in a variety of areas was very inspiring, and the networks formed with those present will be everlasting. Eternally grateful for the opportunity!
