The Cost-Effectiveness of Intermediate-Acting, Long-Acting, Ultralong-Acting, and Biosimilar Insulins for Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus: A Systematic Review - PubMed Long-acting insulin may be cost-effective compared with intermediate-acting insulin.
