On the side note, I made the 3d model entirely from my Ipad with Nomad Sculpt.

I did just make a 2d concept for the plush at first, but Makeship were kinda struggling with adapting it, so I ended up making this 3d model and it went near perfectly after that.

And if you wonder, yeah, I’ve been considering using the 3d model for other projects like potential 3d printing. Nothing decided just yet.

To help Makeship bring the design of the Ramia plush to life, I actually made myself a 3d model for precise reference!

I was very picky so it lead to multiple attempts lol, but it was worth it, I’m very satisfied with the sample I received.

The golem comparison still stand, they’re basically a mashup of various natural materials and the composition can vary for each dwarf.

Oh yeah and to clarify a bit more since the wood golem comparison was probably unclear: they also have stone and iron within their bodies. Their outer shell is usuaally wood-like, but they’re not entirely made of it.

Overall the Dwarves can be seen as rough, self customizable golems that are obsessed with craftsmanship of matter, while Ramia-Yann Elves are "graceful" organic beings. Both are more adapt at the use of natural energy (shakti) than humans in different ways.

They’re able to create prosthesis that are basically recreations of their own bodies, made of the special wood and ore they can produce which can be moved with the shakti (energy) of an individual. It can also shapeshift, which was for example fitting for Kehar who transformed.

Compared to classic dwarves, Ramia-Yana are more similar to wood golems, Their bodies being fundamentally very different from the other main races. They only live deep within the Darklands, making them more like legends for humans.
