I watched "Iron Lung!" It's a great horror movie with an incredibly slow burn. I think I would've enjoyed even more if it was a shorter film. Saying that, I did love the tension and build up throughout the story. And it doesn't go out of it's way to explain literally everything.

Island Getaway OCT Get ready for vacation you won’t soon forget! We promise double the fun every round. That’s because you only get twelve panels in your audition, but the number doubles every round! I.e. round one has a twenty five panel limit, round two has fifty panels, and so on. This is to create an OCT experience where participation isn’t such a massive commitment in early rounds. I really like when movies go sort of small scale stakes, like this one seems to be all in one town with a few characters going on a whacky adventure. Sounds fun to me.

We the audience are the witness to a story that no one in the story’s universe will ever know the full truth of, to a struggle that comes to no fruition but to The Convict means everything, to a story that in the story’s universe will forever be lost.

I love that they leaned into the eldritch horror aspects, and that a lot of the second half of the movie (when the oxygen is running out at the same time) is not quite easy to tell what is real and what is in The Convict’s head.

Iron Lung was great! I loved the acting and effects. Interesting how they expanded on the story but rather than giving a lot of answers, created more questions, though you could still tell what was going on overall. Pacing was the only issue I had. Could have cut at least twenty minutes.

One of SungWon Bear’s more notable cleaning staff and recently hire. The face of an eldritch monster but the heart of a golden retriever, John is a friendly face (or faces) on an island that’s out to kill you. His job is to clean up the messes after the guests finishes their hunt. He gobbles up remains and keeps the rest tidy and pristine. Though he has the power to consume and sprout limbs and parts and extend himself however he pleases, John hates fighting and just wants to do his job. He has the ability to copy someone’s face after eating them, and is near impervious due to his regenerative abilities. He hates fire. Also SungWon never did a background check on John, so that’s a bit of an HR issue.

Send Help movie poster in a theater

We saw Send Help at the new theater. Movie was great. Crazy but not Sam Raimi's craziest but still very satisfying.

The new theater was nice. Had heated seats which were great in this weather. Cabin fever eliminated.

It’s a cool voice. &You do so many voices/accents as a DM or voice acting too, it’s awesome. I think hearing your own voice not coming from you can be uncanny valley since you never experience it in life, same with seeing pictures or reflections of yourself since you can’t actually look at yourself.
