Intelligence in living beings is also far more complex than the architectures you see in AI. Generally speaking, nature isn't going to trend towards something complex like that for no reason.

Fundamentally though, it's not conscious. It can't reason. It's a next word guessing machine that's spitting out words. It's silly to jump to the most ridiculous assumption.
