By their own logic, not extending current law ACA Tax Credit is a $350B tax increase on working families - a tax increase they are demanding to keep gov open.
Over the last 33 years, there’s no economist I admire and respect more than Larry Katz. @lkatz42 shows brilliance can go with humility: economic rigor goes with understanding the layered realities of human behavior: that evidence of what works promotes the pursuit of justice.
I will keep open to the possibility of a coming transparent, rational explanation.
