Baxters minestrone soup😋

Intrigued the dragon agreed to let me pass if I would answer a riddle. He asked:

Second ? So maybe the goat had tried before. Hopefully it had survived. A long , serpentine body rolled into view, coiling around a shimmering treasure hoard. Fáfnir! I spoke up boldly. „I am Lif and I need to save the new world tree, my spouse and a goat.“

Suddenly I smelled dragon breath. The sulphuric tang reminded me of the favourite recipe of the the oldest and most respected crone in the village. Century eggs! I shuddered. A deep baritone rang: ‚Who wants to conquer my mountain? Second thief in one day!‘ My thoughts raced.

Egyptian goddess Seshat. She writes upon a scroll. She wears a white robe with a leopard skin sash. Columns and pyramids are behind her. A crescent moon and star are upon her head.

February 23rd - A Journey with Goddess.

Seshat - Egyptian goddess of writing, of knowledge, of wisdom.

Writing was sacred to the Ancient Egyptians - for them it was the act of preserving something that might otherwise be lost. Writing makes the transient into something eternal.

I wondered about the whereabouts of Lífþrasir. He always had preferred a lonely cabin up high. Fate had sent me a goat to climb steep mountains. Not all was lost and so I smiled when the first snow flakes hit my face and I started to climb…
