As an artist, you're also an actor for your characters. Give them something to do, quirks, posture, body language, etc. Every comic needs fewer words and more clear communication with your drawings, because otherwise, there's no reason to draw it.

I just really hope authors who really lean into the sexual exploits of their MCs in marketing their romance books and the readers who eat all that titillation up are calling their fucking reps over censorship bills and speak out against payment processors
the targeting of any art that is "obscene" (terms of obscenity always to be decided at a whim) is fascistic yes but also how the only kinds of art that tends to be penalized is the individual/independent creators isn't lost on me. a patreon TOS would reject anything that can be streamed on netflix.

A lot of folks fell off bothering payment processors and like, I get it, but we need to start bothering them again. And a lot.
Individual websites will not save us. Running from platform A to platform B will not work as payment processors and legislation will simply follow our trail
