In 2023-2024 I was searching hard for a reason why I should stick with #art - and I am sure I need to explain to nobody why tho.

But the entire journey, from my health downfall, to my mental health ripping apart, to me wanting to burn my #wacom....

Finishing lineart on a piece is such a relief. I love sketching, and after that im super excited to already go and start coloring, but the lining process can sometimes take me days or weeks (totally not distracted).

What's your favourite and least favourite part of your creative process?

On the one hand it feels kinda lame stomping every encounter you meet with the same incredibly strong team, not knowing fear, stress or problems, and happily strolling through the decaying roads with nothing but your pals and ... a pet? But at the same time, it just feels too good.

I'm curious, what inspired you guys to get into worldbuilding and make your own worlds? 🤔

I know for myself its not necessarily one thing, instead a mixture of things, like I wanted to try making my own world of unique characters (lore, appearance, etc) like the game Battleborn had about >

In the MLP community, there's a sort of unofficial equivalent of national days, or birthday for this or that character, somehow. So good excuses to draw something.

So for the last Griffon's day, i made this. Because i like puns.

And i can not heard them sqwaking "Mine ! Mine !".

I grew up loving point & click video games. Some that had a lasting impact on me were "King's Quest VI", the "Myst" series, and "The Longest Journey." (I still need to play the sequels to that one some day.)

Besides various scifi shows, they were the biggest push towards my own #worldbuilding.

I'm trying to add more religions to my #worldbuilding.

Miragia's Elves see their magic as a gift from their Divine Parents. However, I also considered assigning a deity to each element in their magic system. Or maybe each Elf has a 1-2 Divine Parents from that set? 🤔

⤴️ This song got my brain spiralling in a scene I would later call "the fall of Cocan", I wrote it with those silly lilblack "fine liners" on graph paper, while this song was playing for hours on end in the background.

When I am communicating with an artist, I find that different perspectives works very well! I have an idea, an artist has an idea, and we combine it to make a better commission! An example of that is this hognose yuanti bard! The artist didn't know what a hognose was and they presented me with (1/?)

My dream commission...I've already gotten it! Many years ago, I got 8th place in the Firmament on FF14...which is impressive on a gatherer class on Balmung. So I wanted to get a piece celebrsting that and I got it! Art of my Miqo'te by @catrocker15.bsky.social. Do not ask me how much slept I lost.

Had a thought, wanted to experiment with that thought and a beloved brush of mine and this happened-- I'll experiment with open eyes next time and maybe more expressions :) But I am very happy what I got here!
