Not sure this is entirely on target for your question, but when your daughter is a bit older, you both may enjoy the excellent Hilda series (books and video). Ideal for kids 7+ who are open to a bit of danger. Deals beautifully with single mom & adventurous daughter relationship.

On the optics front, Dems should lean in to saving the sacred, dignified space of the White House from Trump's "frilly gold stickers that make us look weak and silly." If the parties were reversed, Fox would go to war against this.

Battery-electric seems like a good solution for dealing with stretches that may be difficult to electrify. Did LIRR make the right choice to abandon study of this technology?

Sen @jessicaramosqns.bsky.social is doing the right thing here. I'm all for development there, and I'm sure there's a solution that benefits both to Steve Cohen and the community. But a casino will be very damaging to Corona and Flushing. Shame on @liunewyork.bsky.social for overlooking that.

We don't need the casino for that.

No amount of this will help against a candidate who is at 47% in the first round. Public needs to be convinced he is unacceptable.

Remember: only you can prevent s'morest fires.

His preference for simplicity over complexity in the presentation of data was very effective. And deceptively difficult to emulate: it takes talent and insight to find the trends that reveal the story.

If Adams and Cuomo are the last two candidates standing, progressives who follow this advice will have no say in the outcome. For me, the choice is clear: I will be ranking Adams #5.

To maximize the chance of your vote counting, you want to rank one of the final two candidates. If Cuomo and Adams are both strong near the end of the race you'll want to rank one unless you really don't care. I plan to rank Adam's #5 if it cones to that.

Cuomo was undermining good government long before Trump was in office. In the Ebola crisis, he bigfooted public health officials for the sake of a photo op.
