They are so striking! and it's such a simple change too, no gradient, dark shading or complex design, but it conveys the feeling so perfectly. The light in her eyes literally getting jaded from the pain.

I forget just how GOOD the expressions and art direction are in this episode. There just so many subtle movements and micro expressions which offer some amazing insight into each character.
This is the stuff I look up to as an artist.

I clicked on them out of curiosity and it displayed the warning of
