Needed a quick palate cleanser before I start Still Wakes the Deep, so decided to try Cocoon (recently added to PS+), and it’s such a bizarre game but its puzzles are very clever and satisfying to solve.

Add side meat for only $4.25, eh? 🤔

It’s a really strange but very satisfying game once you understand the simplicity of the mechanics.

Worlds within worlds. Once you get your head around being able to leave stuff in a world then place it in another world, a Russian doll effect, then it clicks into place for sure.

Once I’ve gotten past all the weird biomechanical bug stuff, it’s pretty interesting puzzle game.

I mostly remember it from the trailers on the Home Alone VHS, along with BIG, and Short Circuit.

The designs are like nothing I’ve seen before, lot of insectoid and biomechanical structures. Fascinating stuff.

I think only seen it once as a kid, don’t remember it being particularly interesting though. Aliens hiding in a retirement home.

I’m seeing double… eight Switches! 😳

Going back to PS3 makes you appreciate how good we’ve got it these days. Such a painstakingly slow task to do anything: downloading, installing, loading, syncing trophies, etc…

Oh yeah! Forgot about that, the things we take for granted now, eh? I remember it would often stall at 90% synced and fail.

I’ve seen it’s been getting a pretty mediocre reaction, not bad but kinda dull.
