i used to live in new england, and to me it feels like the region is most iconic in its fall colors 🍁 tho i can see that giving the map orange hues may be weird. maybe try to match the on-the-map looks of the lots that you have? they seem warmer in hue than your custom map

the collar mesh by sudal-sims, all the rest of the mesh by a creator named MD? very old cc item, cant find the creator anymore :( but its a male top called robin. my reference sweater is this one! not gonna share bc its frankenmesh and also probably very amateurish lol but im very proud *_*

im super excited about all the africa content in the pack, and somewhat interested in the scandal system. are the scandals well-executed? and is there any africa related gameplay beside cosmetics (any animations, maybe a few interactions etc)?

its like maxis wanted to create a fully new, beautiful base game african world and ea hijacked it to turn it into a cheapstake ep with little to no new content besides the african stuff

now im reading such horrible stuff about the royalty ep that even the african parts feel difficult to justify for $35-40 😭 guess i’ll wait until it goes on a 50% sale, which’ll probably happen like next year or so.

re. curseforge, i really dont understand why so many creators use it as patreon, tsr etc are perfectly viable. the only time i ever pirate cc is if something is uploaded only on cf. i even respect perma-paywalls since nobody owes me hardwork cc but if you put your free stuff on cf imma pirate sorry

tho kushner in epstein files makes me wanna vomit so maybe i should take a firmer stance against ea in general too. i just really want ts4 to end so the community can take over

also maybe this begs for some self-explanation: i am very firm on a total boycott of curseforge. as for ea, i have been very reluctant to buy anything since the buyout, but not as firm a stance. the new pack has BEAUTIFUL african representation so i want it (when on sale).

i was thinking about this but now looking at how many people still bought the new pack maybe the sims community is just not good at boycotting in general hahaha

if you update your mods i think its ok? my saves have been ok, im just trying not to open my legacy in case they optimize the family tree a bit more. i didnt like how some important sims were missing in the tree when i last checked

yeah i was shocked too. it also seems very stupid to trivialize your releases like this. people will care less and less about them. tho i guess the creator kits costs nothing to ea anyway lol so maybe any return is a profit
