Going through very old Top 100 Games lists for research, found this one from IGN in 2005. Very fascinating stuff emblematic of the time - FF7 and 10 only in the 80's, Mario 1 still at #1, Donkey Kong shows up not at all.
... and this is the 69th greatest game ever. I am now intensely interested.

It's one of those I keep coming back to at any time and going "yeah... this is REALLY good". Its only HUGE competition for me is CTR Nitro Fueled (which runs horribly on Switch) and Kirby & the Forgotten Land, which I'm slowly cooling on as time goes by!
