When I typed up the original alt text, I forgot to add the name of the artist, which you can see in the bottom right hand corner. Here is his website:

I guess I saw those as one and the same: you lose control of all the decisions of your life. And control is also lost when you're facing the prospect of death. I suppose there are other kinds of control you could be afraid of losing, like control of your bladder, but somehow that seems secondary...

Sounds like a good hypothesis if indeed it is true that all of those others have been pampered and overly bred. Is it? Now, I am trusting you entirely on all of this. Since I know nothing, myself.
I've known families where the horse for the children was a gigantic workhorse because it was the most placid of the lot. I guess you just hope they don't fall! LOL
I did say horse!
I'm glad! It did mine, as well.
Hahhaa!
Hahhaa!

Drat. I just get a page saying that the article isn't there anymore.
Oh!
That is some compensation.

Why oh why is this not the dead leaf sphinx๏ฟผ?
Who listens to the editor?
Oh, could she become a ghost and stay there forever?! In which case, I change my vote: give Helen the house! #TheArchers๏ฟผ
It bloody well better not be. I feel anger bubbling just at the thought of it. She does *not* deserve a free house.

But I lift vegetables for a living! #TheArchers๏ฟผ
It is my true hope that they get past the one note drone at some point, but itโs still nice to open my patio door and hear bagpipes and a drum.
Oh, lord, that would be terrible.
(Resist!!!)
Lovely!
As always, I am the outlier. I voted William Crawley. He rocks that beard.
Lovely.
I listened, enjoyed, but when I tried to find the program it had been on, I couldnโt. I looked for other programs in the genre of science fiction (as suggested by the site) & there were zero. Obviously this story exists (or does it???), and it didnโt show up. Where did you find it? Recommend a show?
The best part was when she explored a leaf and got a big drop of water on her head. So cute! Reacted, but just kept exploring. And then when everyone else started to leave the yard, she was lagging. I had fears for her survival, but god, she was sweet. Reminded me of me as a kid. I did survive, tho.
She sounds like a large percentage of the people Iโve known through their dying. Itโs that loss of control that terrifies them (us). Makes us stupid. #TheArchers
True! Life in the fast lane. I had a lovely time one summer morning watching a little family of white crowned sparrows hunting for food in my yard. The folks and one or two babies were very earnest, but one baby was hilarious, getting into trouble, wandering around โ a very sweet counterpoint.๏ฟผ
