Would disagree with that, he's a very good player, I would prefer him attacking more as he is not a defensive midfielder, he plays the space really well when further forward

Ye, can be an impact player

He had a good season end and looks fresh again, hopefully he can stay fit, but back up is needed

I liked what mccowan did in his time on the pitch, last season he had the energy, but not the awareness of what was going on around him, caught on the ball too often. But a good 25 mins

I'm worried that it's an element of laziness, we need drive and energy and he isn't showing it

Hoped we would see a different guy this season, but tonight he was quite flat, can't say it was the second string he was working with as others really pushed themselves in that last 25 mins, mccowan was driving forward and playing the space well

I think engles will struggle to get a starting spot, hatate was back doing what we know he is capable of and nygren looked good, Calmac pulling the strings, mccowan was very lively, but engles looked a bit flat. And bernardo to come back.
Maybe more competition will push him to up his game
