These are the bizarre rantings of a deeply unwell person - the sort of thing we would normally expect to see scrawled in crayon

So there we have it. The Bully-in-Chief, King Stupid, starts an illegal war thinking his previous bullying will mean countries that were allies hitherto will leap to his aide when Iran takes steps to defend itself

And when they don’t leap to his aide because it is illegal he threatens them

It is the anniversary of the My Lai massacre today. I'd say that even more than most years, it's important to remember what happened.

And the role Hugh Thompson, an active serviceman, played in both stopping and publicising it. Despite enormous military, political and public pressure to stay quiet.

My world, my Earth is a ruin. A planet spoiled by the human species. We multiplied and fought and gobbled until there was nothing left, and then we died. We controlled neither appetite nor violence; we did not adapt. We destroyed ourselves. But we destroyed the world first.

Kendo Nagasaki with more of your Questions and Astrology YouTube video by Kendo Nagasaki 101

The Kendo Nagasaki fireside chat videos are full of fascinating social history. And another example is todays video where he talks about being gay in the 1950's and why it took him so long to 'come out'. youtu.be/g6z10cq_aIA?...

I’m up for a technical Oscar, the ones they announce during the advert breaks. Best Impression of Bernard Bresslaw In Krull, if you really need to know.

“Aye? Well, now, that’s cheering,” cried Ahab, suddenly erecting himself, while whole thunder-clouds swept aside from his brow.

My favourite part of Sunday morning is when we empty our offal hammocks and light a candle for Michael Jackson. But then I'm traditionalist.

To whom it may concern- just got this scam text. It's more obvious to me as I can't drive and have never owned a car. But just in case ...

You can chat all you like about vinyl vs CD vs MP3 vs FLAC vs human hearing capabilities or whatever. Listening to music this way MAKES you stop. Slow down. Play the whole album as the gods (Plant/Page/Bonham/Jones in this case) intended. I shall brook no argument here, so don't fucking bother.

Series A, Episode 07 - Mission To Destiny

VILA: Mock if you like, but I can always sense danger.
GAN: Yes, even when there isn't any.
AVON: Scan doesn't show any modifications. I think it's just what it seems to be.

European affairs minister Nick Thomas-Symonds says the public
"supports the closer relationship we are building' with the EU (PA)
But asked if the UK could go back into the EU one day, Mr Thomas-Symonds told The Independent: "I don't see that, and I don't see us returning to the debates of the past. "The UK and the EU are facing very similar challenges going forward. We on both sides of the channel are looking to generate growth that is central to this government's mission. Erecting trade barriers between us is just going to create mutual damage. That's not in either side's interest," he said.

He looks as bored as we all feel about what are now interminable negotiations with the EU for better terms. But his arguments for not being bolder are feeble. Being out of the SM and CU = erecting growth-repelling trade barriers.
So, what TF is he on about here?

As well as being one of the biggest chemicals companies in the world, Ineos manufactures an off-road vehicle named after a London pub, holds stakes in the world's most famous football club, sponsors a Tour de France cycling team and, until recently, owned the fashion brand Belstaff, famous for its waxed jackets.

The company, run by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, one of Britain's wealthiest men, is a motley fleet of businesses sailing on a sea of debt that reached €12bn by the end of last year.

War in the Gulf, and the resulting surge in oil and gas prices, has dealt a further blow both to Ineos and to Europe's struggling petrochemical industry.

In how many more ways can #Labour ensure its death as a political party?

Fuck industry, fuck mobility, fuck public opinion, let's just honour an illegally manipulated vote of a decade ago.

Government to go “further and faster” in becoming energy secure The Energy Secretary outlines measures to protect consumers and make Britain energy secure.

The Gov were studying 'balcony' solar more than a year ago but we're still at the "will work at pace with the relevant bodies, consumer groups and industry to introduce new standards and amend regulations to get these onto the market as soon as possible" stage. We need a better timeline than this 😩

“In 1883, Sitting Bull was a guest of honour at the opening ceremonies for the Northern Pacific Railroad.
When it was his turn to speak, he said in the Lakota language,
‘I hate all white people. You are thieves and liars. You have taken away our land and made us outcasts.’
A quick-thinking interpreter told the crowd the chief was happy to be there and that he looked forward to peace and prosperity with the white people.
Sitting Bull received a standing ovation.”
