Excerpt from Ezra Levin's email, Nov 10, 2025
Co-Executive Director, Indivisible
Here are a few things we’ll ask you to do right now:
1. If you’re as pissed as I am and this all resonates with you, sign up to be part of this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party today.
2. If you’ve got a Democratic Representative in the House, call them today and tell them not to be a party to this surrender -- or we’ll remember it next year. Yes, Republicans can likely pass this through the House without Democratic votes, but Dems don’t need to make it easier for them or put their names on a bill that betrays their constituents.
3. If you’re raring to do even more, you can also chip in to help us get this primary project off the ground. We’re going to be counting on grassroots supporters to fund this, but there will be many, many ways to get involved, so only give if you can.
We get the party we demand, and we intend to demand one that fights -- a Democratic Party with a spine.
The following document is an excerpt from Ezra Levin’s email (Co-Executive Director, Indivisible) dated Nov 10, 2025. It outlines what we can do right now in response to Senate Democrats surrendering the funding bill on Sunday, Nov 9, 2025.

Screenshot of a constituent phone script targeting US House Rep Jeff Hurd (CO). The script includes his phone number, 202-225-4676, and an introduction for a constituent from Grand Junction expressing outrage over the Trump administration. It then offers two options for action: asking Rep. Hurd to refuse blank check federal spending bills and to conduct investigations into Trump's use of the White House to solicit bribes.
Screenshot of the second page of a constituent phone script continuing demands to Rep. Jeff Hurd. The bulleted points ask the Representative to: stop Trump from usurping Congress' constitutional authorities, file articles of impeachment to remove Trump for defiance of the law, and pledge to investigate and prosecute officials involved in illegal actions. The script concludes with a statement that the constituent will vote against Rep. Hurd if he does not stop this "authoritarian takeover."
Constituents of CO-D3:
PLEASE contact Jeff Hurd’s office! Here is a script you can use to express your frustration with Trump’s authoritarian behavior.
And don’t forget to add “Release the Epstein files”

Your weekly to-dos
1. Sign up for the “What’s Next After No Kings?” mass call tomorrow, October 21, at 8pm ET / 5pm PT. No Kings was massive, powerful, and meaningful -- but it wasn’t the end of our work. Join movement leaders and fellow activists Tuesday night to celebrate what we accomplished and dive into what’s next in the fight.
2. Find (and take action with) the local Indivisible groups in your area. Local activists and organizers were the beating heart of No Kings Day -- and they’ll keep leading the fight on the ground in your community. Use our map to see what groups are near you, follow them online, and get in touch with local Indivisibles.
3. Email your GOP representative to demand that they get back to work and end this Trump Shutdown! House Republicans aren’t even in DC as the Trump Shutdown wreaks havoc on everyday people. We’re pushing vulnerable GOP representatives to call for a bipartisan deal to save healthcare.
4. Volunteer for a virtual phonebank to help Dems win big in Virginia this fall. We’re making 1,000,000 calls to voters to help VA Democrats build a vital defense against Trump’s authoritarian overreach -- a Democratic trifecta in his own backyard! All you need is your phone and a computer. Join a live phonebank training here.
P.S. Together, we just pulled off the biggest day of protest in American history -- and welcomed tens of thousands of new friends to our team! Now, we need to keep organizing and give folks the tools to keep fighting with us. If you can, please chip in today so we can build on the momentum of No Kings Day and keep growing our movement.

A text-based message from Raquel Alexandra of Indivisible Grand Junction, dated October 19, 2025. The message is a thank you and recap of the large No Kings protest in Grand Junction, noting the "joyful resistance" of 7,000-8,000 attendees. It highlights the power of community, gives a special shout-out to the Safety Team and Michelle, and calls on the community to "keep building on this". The message ends with a list of next steps, including voting in November, donating to Homeward Bound, joining MVEA for a Walk & Knock, and an invitation to the next "Resistance & Snacks" organizing meeting on Tuesday, October 21 at 6 PM at Central Library.
A crowd of diverse people marching on a sunny day down a street lined with buildings and autumn foliage. They are carrying a large black banner across the front that reads "Power to the People" with a red crown logo and the text "NO KINGS." Other signs visible in the crowd advocate for various social and political issues, including one that reads, "DEMOCRACY YES KINGS NO," and another with a heart that says, "OUR BEST HOPE IS THAT TRUMP IS TAKING MEDICAL ADVICE FROM R.F.K. flyer with a black and white text on a plain white background.
At the top, a stylized black crown is crossed out with thick red 'X' marks. To the right of the crown, large bold text reads: "NO KINGS".
Below this is the title: "Top 10 Rally Reminders".
The main body of the flyer contains ten boxed reminders, arranged in two columns, alternating between a red and a dark blue outline.
The reminders are:
Left Column (Red, Blue, Red, Blue, Red):
Lead with Love, Not Anger. Focus your energy on what you stand for, not what you stand against. Anger fades; compassion lasts.
Smile and Greet Others. Say hello, wave, or share a word of encouragement. Small acts of friendliness build community trust and lower tension.
Lift Your Voice with Positivity. Joy is contagious. The more you smile, sing, and stay grounded, the safer and stronger everyone around you feels.
Make Your Sign Speak Peace. Choose messages that uplift—creative, clever, values-based signs draw attention without aggression or profanity.
Model Nonviolence in Every Action. If confronted, breathe, stay calm, and step back. Do not engage or argue, alert a Guardian in an orange vest.
Right Column (Blue, Red, Blue, Red, Blue):
Look Out for One Another. Offer water, a smile, or friendly chat to someone nearby. Check on families, elders, and people with mobility needs.
Celebrate Families and Kids. Keep the atmosphere family-friendly, and invite children to join in with chants and songs—joyful ways to express civic pride.
Keep It Clean and Respectful. Leave our rally space as beautiful as you found it—or better. Treat it with respect, care, and gratitude for peace.
Be Mindful of Words & Tone. Speak with kindness, even when disagreeing. Avoid insults, sarcasm, or chants that demean others.
Carry Joy Beyond the Rally. After the event, share stories, photos, and reflections that highlight unity and courage—show the world what peaceful power looks like.
