🥳🎂 Today is our 89th birthday! To celebrate here's a selection of theatre highlights from the past year...
1. Announcing our exciting redevelopment plans and releasing the architectural plans for our brand-new auditorium!
Earlier this month we removed all 666 seats from our auditorium... and we are thrilled to donate 400 of them to the redevelopment of the Amulet Theatre in Shepton Mallet.

This is a redevelopment on an epic scale. The auditorium will be renovated beautifully in time for Panto 2025. We will make progress on a second auditorium creating an arts venue Cambridge can be proud of.
Our auditorium theatre masks have been removed! 🎭
This tragedy mask usually hangs above the Rylands Box and was installed during our auditorium refurb in the early 1990s. There's another identical mask above the Keynes Box and a comedy counterpart above the proscenium arch too.
This is a brilliant show, music, dance, fun and only one @cambridgeunited.bsky.social joke!
