I have done it myself and it was sort of painstaking. However, it was for an edited book, so I think that makes it more difficult. It is worth having someone else involved (IMO) because you get a bit more perspective on the key words/topics.

Thrilled to share that my essay, "Writing Ecotones: Creative-Critical Inquiry in the Middle Voice," appears in the latest issue of Writers: Craft and Context (link below with CW). This was one of the hardest essays I have ever written, but the process brought out something of which I'm really proud.
