This is about the safety of US citizens. Hurricanes are one of the most destructive natural events. And as major storms increase in frequency and intensity thanks to climate change, there's an increased need to be able to pinpoint exactly where, when and how hard a storm will hit.
More than 2000 jobs have been eliminated across these institutions within the last year.
The Regime is also proposing cutting NOAA’s 2026 budget by an additional 30%, which would eliminate all research laboratories including at the National Hurricane Center in Miami.
Tropical Cyclone 9 has a high likelihood of becoming Hurricane Imelda. Here is the latest predited path from NOAA.
NOAA, the NWS, and the National Hurricane Center are essential in providing fast, accurate forecasts, including predicting hurricane tracks and issuing advisories.
This is censorship, plain and simple. Executives are lining their pockets at the expense of the US’s fundamental values. There’s a reason the founders made free speech & the ability to express opinions & ideas the FIRST Amendment!

Marine environments can recover more quickly than intially thought if left alone. If we can protect 1/3 of the world's oceans, we stand a chance at saving the seas. And because the ocean is so interconnected to the land, we could save life on our planet as a whole.
Today is World Ocean Day! I made sure to watch the newly released "Ocean with David Attenborough."
From amazing footage of kelp forests, coral reefs, and polar seas, to the realites of overexplotation of ocean resources, to messages of hope, this film was stunning.
