Lot of red flags with that company
Have a pleasant Caturday.
RIP U.S. innovation.
Between gutting the H-1B program, purging US scientists from civil service, slashing research grants, and disappearing international students off the streets, our government has made a conscious decision to kill America's roll as a global leader in science and innovation.
When mask mandates were enacted to try and save lives, the right screamed about freedom.
When mask bans were passed? They celebrated. Because it’s not about freedom.
With vaccine mandates, they screamed about autonomy.
When vaccines get restricted, they cheer. Because it’s not about autonomy.
My Stanford MD PhD to me today: "I realized that you're right. They're not just tolerating COVID caution - they're actively targeting people who are trying to protect themselves"
Maybe easier input methods
Not sure if this will last. But either way, when I'm done with the four months, I'll post my review on helpforlongcovid.com
It's been about 2 months since I started the maraviroc and atorvastatin for Long COVID. And finally I'm on my fourth day in a row of no symptoms - none at all.
If you have the energy to add a review for a Care Provider or a treatment, it would be appreciated. helpforlongcovid.com
This still needs a little clean up, but the directory of Long COVID doctors and treatments I've been collecting is up:
Excess retirements can also be driven by Covid/long covid. For example, people near retirement may develop long COVID and therefore just retire rather than trying to work a few more years. Or they may fear COVID infections, and retire to reduce their risk
Yes, I have a lot planned. In exchange, can you ask your former employer to terminate a certain oncologist whose continued employment makes a mockery of the institution?
My Uncle worked at the factory creating the gas they put in the chem trails. He told me that's the real problem
Jpow called it out in a speech back in 2022, but has not mentioned it since. It's very inconvenient
Wrote a fair amount about this stuff in 2023-2024. E.g. : threadreaderapp.com/thread/17594...
Vaccination significantly reduced #LongCovid in children and adolescents among ~300,000 kids and teens

If you need any motivation, for every review I receive, I will donate $15 to a long COVID-related organization (see the link for details).
To try to help other people who are going through what I went through, I'm creating a catalog of different treatments. If you are a long covid patient, and you have tried anything (doesn't matter if it worked), please fill out this form: docs.google.com/forms/u/4/d/...
And unless you spend hours online like I did, talking to people, surfing reddit, hanging out in discord chats, sliding into sick peoples' DMs in the most depressing way possible, you will never know about many of these interventions.
Unfortunately, a lot of these treatments that are known within the long COVID community don't work, or don't work for everyone. But some of them do for some people some time. (The ganglion block didn't do much for me, but others claim it does.)
In the meantime, it doesn't seem like anything will ever change, because research into long COVID is massively underfunded, and many of the trials that are currently running test nonsensical interventions like meditation that won't be effective.
I understand the reluctance to intervene - the data is limited. But the alternative is to simply suffer, and maybe never taste or smell anything again. Maybe it comes back in 5 years, or maybe it never does.
I had to read research and case reports, and compile this all and send it to them. And have multiple appointments and conversations about it before I could actually get it done.
So instead I went to the Stanford Pain Management Clinic, which performs it in a legitimate hospital setting. I had conversations with them for several months about it - one doctor there wanted to perform, but the other didn't.
But this didn't seem like a great idea to me, since the procedure involves sticking a large needle deep into your neck.
I spent the better part of a year researching and trying to find someone reputable to do my ganglion block. If you look online, you can find all sorts of sketchy providers who will do it for cash in the back of random rented medical buildings.
There I learned about the stellate ganglion block and PRP injections. Later, I did both, but only after I personally spent hours researching and trying to find decent doctors to perform them. My own doctors never suggested any of this to me - I had to figure this all out alone.
